The Epic Day
The sun was beating down; you could cut the tension with a knife. The majestic colors of blue and white were everywhere, along with mixed splashes of dark blue and blood red. It was the annual KL State Drill competition. This year it was also the dancing and singing competition in preparation for Pesta 2010.

First Meeting of the year 2009
A warm welcome to all. In our first meeting, we saw about 40 new recruits and 40 new juniors in parade. This is truly very exciting and we pray that all of you be able to build new friendship and a brand new life with Boys’ Brigade.

Fun Day
On February 6, instead of the usual BB Meeting, the company NCOs organised what they call a Fun Day. It was indeed a happy day for everyone. Everyone got 'dirty' and wet. At the end of the day, the new recruits had a good taste of what fun it is to join the Boys' Brigade.

NCO Christmas Party
On the 22nd of December in 2008, Madam Magdalene Lu hosted a Christmas dinner party for the NCOs and Officers of 10th KL. The dress code for the dinner was formal, so all the guys looked dashing and the girls looked gorgeous.

NCO Retreat
From the 14th to the 16th of December in 2008, the NCOs and Officers (and a couple of the Officers’ children) were in Golden Sands in Port Dickson for the annual NCO retreat. The retreat consisted mainly of a long drive to the resort, lots of meetings, eating, fellowship and fun, and a long drive back.

Strategic Planning Workshop
The SPW was a 2 day 1 night planning camp for the officers of the 10th KL Boy’s Brigade Company. The SPW was held at Clearwater Golf Sanctuary in Batu Gajah, Perak. This camp had a two fold plan, it was to do the planning for next year’s BB year, and to assess the previous year and see if we had reached our goals set last year.

Team Building Day
On the 16th of August 2008, the 10th Kuala Lumpur Company held a teambuilding to foster unity and togetherness. This day of teambuilding games was organized by the officers, mainly W/O Andrew. The day began with the usual falling in of the members and a short briefing on what the day had in store for them. After that we all went in for a time of praise and worship.

10th KL Enrolment
After about a month of practice, the 9th of August finally came, Awards Day. It was a day that the members have been anxiously for. This memorable event was held in Wisma FGA L5. We are very thankful to FGA (our sponsoring authority) for accommodating us. So what exactly happened?

KL Drill Competition
On the 21st of June, we had the KL State Drill Competition. 10th Kuala Lumpur Company sent in one junior team, and 2 senior teams for this competition. The day started off with all drill squad members gathering at Sri Sempurna for one last run through and for uniform inspection. After lunch and a word of prayer, off we went to MBS, home of 1st KL.

Our 10th Anniversary Celebration
10th Kuala Lumpur celebrated our 10th Anniversary on 10th May 2008. This event was held in Sime Darby Convention Centre. The Officers Council decided that this is to be a Fund Raising as well as the expansion project into the orphanage homes. Truly this is so exciting especially when we think of the expansion project which is in line with our Mission.
