Team Building Day

On the 16th of August 2008, the 10th Kuala Lumpur Company held a teambuilding to foster unity and togetherness. This day of teambuilding games was organized by the officers, mainly W/O Andrew. The day began with the usual falling in of the members and a short briefing on what the day had in store for them. After that we all went in for a time of praise and worship. As with all events, we asked God to protect all of us as we had this day of fun and togetherness. The members were divided into 10 teams with a mixture of juniors and seniors, along with a few NCOs per group. Each group had to design a banner and a team uniform. They were given Manila paper, crayons, marker pens and crepe paper with which to work with. Each group came up with very original and creative designs for their groups. Each team was then given a station list to go to. At each station there was a game for them to play for points. Every station was different and had different point systems, but the thing that was the same about each station was that every team member was important and crucial to helping the team gain more points. In addition to that, each team was responsible for making sure their uniforms stayed on and were visible. For each member that had lost of misplaced their uniform part, there would be a deduction of points. There were 5 stations and two teams would go head to head in different competitions to gain points and win. Each team was pair in such a way that no team faced the other team twice. In the end, all the scores were tallied and… well it doesn’t matter who won, what matters is that all the members had fun and it helped build unity and togetherness between seniors and juniors. The day was a big success and we are currently planning to do another one in the not too distant future, who knows, we might even make the games even better, hehehe.
