10th Kuala Lumpur celebrated our 10th Anniversary on 10th May 2008. This event was held in Sime Darby Convention Centre. The Officers Council decided that this is to be a Fund Raising as well as the expansion project into the orphanage homes. Truly this is so exciting especially when we think of the expansion project which is in line with our Mission.

With this in mind, we decided to invite Mr Gurmit Singh aka Phua Chu Kang and a Singapore celebritiy, Mr Clement Chow. Both of them host the show for the night and it was truly and enjoyable and unforgettable evening.

The most exciting out of the whole event was on the Fund Raising. We targeted to raise RM116, 000 of which RM67,000 was for the instruments and RM 48000 for Band Master Fees for the next five years. God in His own goodness supplied us with the Funds.

First, we had Public Bank who had so kindly sponsored us RM60,000 for the instruments. This was so unbelievable. During the night, we raise RM48,000 for the Band Master Fee. Along the way, we had so many donations that came in. We thank God that as we work towards this expansion plan, we know it is God’s will that we work with orphanage children – to provide them with an avenue to join this organization which we know can change life, build life and in turn impact the society in future.
