Who We Are

10th KL is a unique company in that we have both boys and girls joining our company. Some of you may ask, why girls in Boys’ Brigade. Thankfully, the Boys’ Brigade constitution allows for girls to join BB. Due to limited manpower, we decided to adopt Boys’ Brigade so that both boys and girls are able to join us.

We are a school-based company, Sekolah Sri Sempurna in Brickfileds. The school is a ministry arm of The Full Gospel Assembly. Therefore, our sponsoring authority is The Full Gospel Assembly.

We are currently about 90 strong in our Senior Section and 50 strong in our Junior Section. We meet weekly on every Saturday morning. This is also another unique feature of 10th KL, whilst other companies around KL meet at 2pm; we are the only company that meets in the morning.

Every week when we meet, these are the activities that we do : we start off with what we call Opening Parade. During this time, we will sing our National Anthem, Negara Ku, the BB Anchor song followed by announcement. We then proceed for our Praise and Worship and then we will break into various classes for the sharing of the Word of God. After that, we will move on to Drill. This is where discipline and training is instilled. Then, various badgework classes will be conducted ranging from, Camping Badge, First Aid Classes, Christian Education etc. Following that we will do the Closing Parade. To those who are interested in Brass Band, they stay back for Brass Band practice in which a bandmaster has been hired to train the members.
